Days of rain turned this house into the muddy mess.

No this is not a malfunction at Wily Wonka's Chocolate Factory. Heavy rains that flooded Oahu fell on the islands for days causing a messy mudslide streaming right through this Oahu home. The mud was a few inches deep in mud throughout the whole home. Luckily the residents had moved out prior to the flood. Had this home been occupied during this flood it would have certainly caused major damage to the occupying residents' personal belongings as well as to the structure. 

After the intruding mud is extracted there is still work to do to get the home occupant ready. Hurricane Lane brings tremendous wind and rain, causing a flood threat to Hawaii.

Hurricane Lane weakened by Friday but forecasters and officials warned the Category 1 cyclone was still producing DANGEROUS rainfall totals that may result in FLOODING.

The center of the storm being about 120 miles south of Honolulu on Friday, is not expected to come ashore.  Though, the eye wall could pass DANGEROUSLY close to the central islands, including Oahu and Maui, in the coming days.
